The driver of the 2003 Toyota Corolla went west on New Harrison Bradford, failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road, where he hit a tree that fell onto top of his vehicle. He was extricated and transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight with unknown injuries. Alcohol is a suspected contributing factor. This crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

They propose allocating $485 million in library funds for 2026 — a decrease from last year’s library fund of $489.3 million — and then $495 million for 2027. So funding would be essentially flat over the next two years.

Shortly afterwards, Riverside police officers requested a SWAT response from the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department after a shotgun and a SKS/AK-47 style rifle was viewed inside the suspect’s residence.
