The changes could put 400,000 children at risk of losing their healthcare, and would increase healthcare costs, especially for low-income seniors and people with disabilities. Senator Gillibrand calls the proposal an unacceptable piece of legislation.

(WBNG) -- Tioga Gardens is preparing for the Mother’s Day rush. “Mother’s Day is probably our biggest weekend of the whole year,” said Nursery Manager Casey Kuhlman. “Everybody loves hanging baskets, so we’ll sell a lot of those.” Across the country, flowers remain the most popular gift for moms, according to the National Retail Federation. Attorney General James said that since taking office, the Trump Administration has fired thousands of health workers, closed life-saving programs and abandoned states to deal with health crises without federal support. “This administration has taken a wrecking ball to HHS,” exclaimed Attorney General James.

PENNSYLVANIA (WBNG) -- Several Pennsylvania legislators are calling for the regulation and treatment of cannabis through the “Cannabis Health and Safety Act.” Reps. Rick Krajewski and Dan Frankel introduced House Bill 1200 to regulate cannabis, establish Pennsylvania cannabis stores, and create a cannabis revenue fund, among other initiatives.
