    A suspect is in custody Sunday morning after a house party shooting resulted in the death of a man around midnight in Thornton. Adams County deputies responded to 7611 Gilpin St. for a call of shots fired during a house party, Adams County Sheriff's Office officials said on social media platform X. Upon arrival, deputies found a man on the street. Medics later confirmed him dead, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies immediately collected information from witnesses and searched the area.

    Five people are injured, including the suspect, after a stolen vehicle pursuit ended in a head-on crash on Saturday night, according to Colorado State Patrol and the Aurora Police Department. According to a CSP news release, CSP officers responded to the crash around 6:27 p.m. near the intersection of South Cherry Street and South Leetsdale Drive. Moments before the crash, Aurora Police Department officers initiated a pursuit of a suspected stolen vehicle, a 2000 Dodge Ram, according to CSP.
