On the heels of a career year offensively, left-handed hitting slugger Joc Pederson has reached an agreement with the Texas Rangers, league sources confirmed to The Athletic. The deal is pending a physical. Terms are not yet known. Pederson, 32, posted career highs in batting average (.275), on-base percentage (.393), OPS (.908) and OPS+ (151) while being exclusively utilized as a designated hitter by the Arizona Diamondbacks, one of baseball's best offenses in 2024.
