May 12-A devastating fire destroyed the Oakland sewing factory where trendy San Francisco fashion brand Nooworks manufactured all its clothing for the past 15 years, according to the company. Although the label known for its limited-run garments with flashy prints did not specify the date or exact location of the fire, it wrote in a May 5 Instagram post that the blaze consumed all of its current inventory in production, as well as its vast archive of highly sought-after patterns.

San Francisco Animal Care and Control rescued three baby raccoons from inside the wall of Chase Center on Sunday, according to officials. “Baby raccoon rescue! Our dispatch got a call about 3 baby raccoons stuck in the wall of the Chase Center,” the department wrote on Instagram. Lt. Stephanie Ryer arrived first and managed to free two of the kits. But the third raccoon proved more difficult to extract — only its head was visible, wedged behind a tile.
