UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. — A new noise law in the township will need more work. Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors on Thursday discussed a new noise ordinance for the township. But supervisors disagreed on exactly how the new ordinance should be enforced — and who should have to follow it. Supervisors voted 2-1 to revise the draft. (Third of five parts)LOWHILL TWP., Pa. — When George Wessner first signed an agreement of sale with a warehouse developer for his property two years ago, he said he never imagined it would cause an uproar. “I really didn't think in a million years it would be like this,” Wessner said. Wessner is a member of the board of supervisors in Lowhill Township, a small, 2,100-person municipality in northwestern Lehigh County. The township is full of rolling hills, with views of mountains in the distance.
