Deep in the heart of Coca-Cola territory in Georgia, PepsiCo is launching a new front in the cola wars - with the return of the Pepsi Challenge blind taste test. The skirmish comes to the Peach State on Thursday - which is National Have a Coke Day, no less. This time, the longtime Coke rival is asking people out and about in Atlanta to sip from unmarked cups of Pepsi Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar to decide which they prefer. PepsiCo says all who participate will get a free 20 oz.

Katrell Christie opened eclectic teahouse Dr. Bombay's in Candler Park at 1645 McLendon Ave. NE in 2007. Not long after opening its doors, Christie founded the Learning Tea, which offers housing, educational and empowerment opportunities for young women in Darjeeling, India.

Superhero-themed pizzeria Savage Pizza will open its downtown Norcross location next week. The newest outpost at 7 Jones St. NW will be open for dinner service on Friday, Feb. 28. Savage Pizza has been an Atlanta staple since 1990 when it first opened in Virginia-Highland, then moved a few years later to Moreland Avenue in Little Five Points. A second location opened in 2009 in Avondale Estates.

The team behind Arepa Grill has opened full-service Venezuelan restaurant Arepa Grill Kitchen & Wine in Roswell. Husband and wife Pedro and Claudia Cardenas opened the eatery last month at 45 Oak St. in the space that was formerly home to Casa Robles with a menu featuring the arepas they're known for as well as Venezuelan and Spanish dishes. The Cardenases, natives of Venezuela, opened the original Arepa Grill at Plaza Fiesta in Doraville in 2019 and a second location in Brookhaven in 2021.
