LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A Customs and Border Protection officer is now stable after being found unresponsive near a Laredo port of entry. That’s the update from officials with the agency today. They also say they cannot provide any further information beyond that out of respect for the privacy of the officer’s family. We’re told they have expressed appreciation for the work of first responders.

On Wednesday, May 28, the Laredo Police Department mentioned that the investigation began after a conversation between two individuals on an online gaming platform raised a red flag due to a mention of shooting a school.

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Laredo ISD is reminding families that hunger doesn’t take a vacation now that summer break has begun. The district plans to provide over 50 locations where children aged 18 and under can receive breakfast, lunch or snacks without needing an ID or registration. The locations include LISD schools, pools, city rec centers, churches and libraries.

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Two people involved in a fiery car accident on Saturday, May 24th, continue to fight for their lives in a San Antonio hospital. Their identities have not been revealed yet, and there have been no charges filed so far. According to reports, a Ford Mustang was headed east along Highway 359 on Saturday at about three in the afternoon.
