RIO BRAVO, Tex. (KGNS) - About three miles south of Rio Bravo, a pickup truck overturned along Hwy 83 while traveling southbound, according to Rio Bravo firefighters. Emergency medical responders reported receiving the call about the incident just before 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18. Officials report that only one individual sustained minor injuries related to the incident. Additionally, the investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing. LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Two teenagers were arrested following an alleged chase, with one allegedly assaulting a federal agent. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, when Laredo Police learned that a Border Patrol agent was responding to a case involving human smuggling. Reports indicate that an SUV collided with several other vehicles before the passengers fled on foot.

On Wednesday morning, August 14, school officials from UISD and LISD came to our studios to pick up supplies for kids in need. In July, KGNS+ worked with local businesses and groups to collect these items.
