Wildomar officials are trying to clear out dozens of unkempt Black Series trailers, some with missing windows and flat tires, that have apparently relocated there after being removed from the City of Industry in March. Video recorded on Thursday showed the trailers crammed into a lot near homes and businesses on the 20700 block of Palmar Street. Area residents are concerned about the trash piling up and the dangers of fires erupting from the encampment.

Authorities are searching for two suspects who allegedly shot a man dead during an attempted catalytic converter theft. According to the Inglewood Police Department, the shooting occurred at about 3:22 a.m. Tuesday on the 1000 block of North Chester Avenue in Inglewood. Police said the victim was attempting to stop the suspects from stealing the catalytic converter off of a neighbor’s car. At least one of the suspects opened fire on the man, shooting him in the chest.

As residents throughout the Los Angeles area deal with the unfathomable disaster that remains after the devastating Eaton and Palisades fires, a new threat is looming over the weekend. Officials are warning that mudslides could hit the areas affected by the fires as a rainy weekend is expected. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fire zones in Altadena and Malibu are most at risk.

The showroom is full of furniture that has been donated by the major Hollywood studios and individual donors and it is all available for fires victims in a space across from Warner Bros in Burbank. They are also offer storage units free of charge.
