    DULUTH, Minn. –Essentia Health has heard from multiple people recently who were contacted about fake employment opportunities by someone impersonating Essentia. In most instances, people reported receiving a job offer via social media. They were asked to provide personal information to advance the hiring process. It’s important to note that Essentia will never ask for personal information outside of our application system. We have reported this to authorities for further investigation.

    DULUTH, Minn — Drugs and weapons were seized and three people arrested when members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force served a warrant in the 14 hundred block of West 91st Avenue on Thursday. At the Morgan Park home, a 35-year-old man from Duluth, A 19-year-old from Chicago, and A 37-year-old person whose address is unknown, were taken into custody without incident.

    DULUTH, Minn. — The DECC has literally gone to the dogs this weekend. The Duluth Kennel Club is holding its all-breed show now through Sunday… and the public is invited and encouraged to come to the show. When the title of the show says all breeds they mean it!  138 dog breeds are competing for recognition this weekend. This is an AKC-certified event, meaning all the dogs are purebreds and the owners are expected to follow the ethics the American Kennel Club has estblished.

    DULUTH, Minn — The summer weather on Wednesday was very appropriate for the kick-off of Downtown Duluth’s Sidewalk Days. Wednesday was the first of three days of Sidewalk Days sales taking place on Superior Street. On a day where the weather was beautiful, the crowds turned out in big numbers. They may have come for the sales, but they were also enjoying the music, fun foods, and special activities for the kids.
