Then, in the middle of the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will start that will last through the evening. No severe storms are likely with these, but some strong thunderstorms will be possible.

NW Arkansas will probably get some rain and thunderstorms around 5 PM. That complex will move southeast and bring a chance of rain to Central Arkansas after sunset. The rain chance will go up after Midnight and into Saturday morning.
