Last week I was on a work call when the lights went out and the wifi died. I can't watch Star Wars anymore. It's not a big loss - I saw the first movie as a kid in 1977 and loved it, but then I got busy and didn't watch The Empire Strikes Back until 2018. By then, the franchise had already metastasized into a monstrous Wookie-headed hydra which no longer seemed worth the effort to understand. But I digress. My aversion to Star Wars isn't just that, like the universe itself, it's in a state of perpetual, incomprehensible expansion.
