BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - High pressure sits both off the coast of Long Island and over the Great Lakes today, helping to provide above average temperatures and sunshine for all in New England both today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, unsettled weather will work in on Thursday, continuing throughout the weekend. Plenty of sunshine will continue this morning with a few light clouds and spot showers developing this afternoon.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The dreary, wet, and cool conditions which we’ve experienced in Maine for what feels like a long time now have exited, allowing warmer drier and sunnier conditions to enter, which will last throughout the next several days. Memorial Day today will be very pleasant weather wise. Highs will reach back into the 60s and low 70s for most communities. A mix of sun and clouds are expected with a few pop-up showers possible in the afternoon.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The remnants of the Nor’easter which provided us with cooler and wet weather over the last 3-4 days will exit Maine and the Canadian Maritimes entirely tonight. Most communities received a total of 0.50 to 1.50 inches of rain since Thursday evening. Tonight, clouds will finally start to lighten up from the NW to SE. A few scattered showers this evening will dissipate out as well. Low temps will vary from the mid 30s to mid 40s with NW gusts up to 15 mph.
