Meteorologists at the Maine DEP say ‘Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups’ levels of particle pollution were recorded in the Southwest Coastal areas on Sunday and continue in that range Monday. Another plume of wildfire smoke from the Western Canadian wildfires has passed along much of the Canadian Maritimes.

    BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - High pressure will pass across Maine tonight, moving to the East tomorrow. Following behind the high pressure is another low-pressure system, which will provide rain on Tuesday. However, the mid and later portions of the work week are trending on the drier side, with some sunshine but still small shower chances up North. Tonight, low temps will vary from the mid 40s to low 50s. Clouds will enter overnight, with partly to mostly cloudy skies expected.

Sunny, warmer, and drier conditions will be abundant, although plenty of wildfire smoke will linger around. High pressure will pass through overnight, moving out to the East tomorrow.     BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - What was an unsettled and wet day today will give way to sunnier conditions tomorrow as high pressure enters overnight. Sunnier, warmer, and drier conditions are expected on Sunday, potentially lingering into Monday. However, more rain will work in on Tuesday, potentially lingering around on Wednesday, with smaller shower chances Thursday and Friday. This evening, showers continue for communities to the SE of the interstate.
