Former star NFL quarterback John Elway was driving a golf cart at the Madison Club in La Quinta Saturday when his business partner and former agent fell off of it and suffered serious injuries, according to TMZ. The celebrity news website reported Wednesday that Elway's friend and business partner, Jeff Sperbeck, is on life support and not expected to recover, with an unnamed source cited saying doctors were preparing to harvest Sperbeck's organs for donation.

We had a different president, we were just starting to go back to big concerts again after the pandemic, and life seemed a lot simpler.
