Surveillance video from a nearby street camera shows an arson suspect in a wheelchair lighting an unhoused woman’s personal items on fire before leaving the scene in West Hollywood. The blaze engulfed two suitcases that reportedly contained all of the woman’s belongings. The footage has been submitted to West Hollywood authorities for review. The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, June 16, outside Anawalt Lumber at 641 N. Robertson Blvd.

A rumor of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid taking place at Pavilions supermarket in West Hollywood, sparked panic among community members in the city’s Rainbow District last Friday, June 20, 2025—“Do you know if they’re coming to the bars?” asked one owner of a local bar. Council member John Erickson alerted the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station to find out if there was truth to the rumors.

Farm Cup Coffee, located at 7748 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, has been pulled off the market and is no longer available for sale. A post on the coffee shop’s Instagram account states that they will be staying at their current location. Owners Emerson Haro and his boyfriend Tony Yuan had been asking $100,000. “We are no longer selling Sunny,” said Yuan. “Long story short, we weren’t getting any offers that made sense for us, and we’ve been doing well at this location.
