Patrick McMath, creates a list of banned ingredients in food served at public schools (and some private schools that receive state funding) across the state. The bill does not however address food and drinks in vending machines at schools.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A behavioral professor spoke with KSLA on the signs of mental health following last week’s killing of a mother stabbed by her son who said he was hearing voices. DeSoto Parish teacher Lara Lyons died after her son, 19-year-old Conner Lyons, told police he stabbed her while she was asleep, claiming he was hearing voices.
