RIESEL, Texas - This Be Remarkable takes us out to Riesel where we had the pleasure to meet with Gloria Tanner. Tanner works with Riesel ISD as an aide in the in-school-suspension helping kids get back on the right path and always having an open door. “She can help the good kids and the needy kids, and we are so proud of her and how she does that,” DL Wilson said. Tanner brings her experience from working in daycares to the Riesel ISD.

And right in McLennan County, it was just recently reported that an average of 10 kids a week are thrust into that very same situation.

WACO, Texas - This week’s Be Remarkable takes us to Waco, where a local veteran has been making sure our service members are seen and respected for putting their lives on the line for America. It’s a mission that was molded by George Banks’ personal experience. “I can spot a veteran from a mile away and I will stop; are you a veteran? Thank you for your service, welcome home. It means, excuse me a second,” George Banks, Be Remarkable Winner.
