April 14ENERGYClean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) fell 6.7% to $1.39 and a market cap of $311 million. The Newport Beach-based clean fuel provider said it is scheduled to report first-quarter 2025 results on May 8, where analysts are forecasting Q1 revenue to fall 5.5% to $97.98 million with an estimated loss of 16 cents per share. Analyst firm UBS lowered its price target for Clean Energy by $3.25, according to The Fly website. RETAIL Irvine-based Tilly’s Inc.

The Newport Beach maker of facial injections ’ core product is among many medtech companies facing uncertainties amid a global trade war launched by President Trump. Its core product Jeuveau, a rival to Allergan’s Botox, is manufactured in South Korea and imported into the U.S.Shares of ICU Medical Inc.

Sandra Beaver has promised investors that Evolus Inc. will triple revenue to $700 million by 2028. To reach that goal, the Newport Beach maker of facial injections would need an annual compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27%. Thus far, it’s well above that CAGR as sales climbed 32% to $266.3 million in 2024. Analysts are projecting 32% growth this year to $353 million followed by another 33% increase to $469 million in 2026.

Orange County’s unemployment rate fell to 3.9% in February from a revised 4.1% in January and unchanged from February last year, according to the state’s Employment Development Department. The state’s unemployment rate of 5.5% was unchanged from January and up from 5.1% a year ago. The U.S.’s was 4.5%. Nonfarm OC employment increased by 8,000 jobs from January to February when 1.68 million were employed. Seven of the 11 industry sectors saw job increases.
