AUSTIN, Texas — Sad news came this week for family, friends and customers of the owner of a popular Austin restaurant. Robert "Bob" Reale, who helped make his business your "Home Away from Rome," died on April 28 at the age of 85, leaving behind a lifetime of amazing food and a lot of great memories. Reales Italian Cafe in northwest Austin is all about food and family. Inside his restaurant, Bob never met a stranger.

AUSTIN, Texas — A father mourns the death of his daughter who was killed on New Year's Day in southeast Austin. Police said 19-year-old Naomi Davis was killed by a man who was released from jail on a "Personal Recognizance Bond" just over two weeks before she died. Those bonds, more commonly known as "PR bonds" allow a defendant out of jail without paying as long as they promise to show up for future court appearances.

AUSTIN, Texas — For Courtney Clark, memories of her time living in New York City are precious. But on Sept. 11, 2001, Courtney and the world were watching, as an unfathomable nightmare came to life. On that horrid day, America lost it's innocence, and thousands of innocent people perished in the blink of an eye. Clark was 22-years-old, working 16 blocks away from where World Trade Center collapsed. "It was such a traumatic experience," Clark said.

AUSTIN, Texas — Barton Springs Pool isn't just a pool – it's a beloved landmark that has been around for nearly a century. In fact, it's so appreciated that a group of volunteers dedicates their time to keeping the swimming hole clean and beautiful. "It's the jewel. I mean, it's the center of a whole lot of people's universe," said Steve Barnick with Friends of Barton Springs Pool. It's a crown jewel of Austin that swimmers like Barnick want to keep beautiful for years to come.
