    New vendors are joining many old standbys at the popular downtown Vancouver Farmers Market for its spring-summer season, which kicks off Saturday. Although the market is year-round, it’s open both Saturdays and Sundays each weekend between April and October. On average, 300 to 400 vendors apply for the 250 vendor spots to fill 175 market stalls for spring and summer at the downtown market.
