The Columbian

The Columbian is a daily newspaper serving Vancouver, Washington, and Clark County in the United States. It was first published on October 10, 1890, by printer Tom Carolan. For its initial ten years, from 1890 to 1900, it was a four-page daily paper created to provide an alternative perspective to the local Republican newspaper, The Independent.

The retailer announced in February it was closing all of its 444 stores nationwide, including two in Vancouver. As of this month, Joann is officially gone.
