    March 1, 2025 (EIRNS)—Admitting Ukraine into the EU would be an “unthinkable” act, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has stated, adding that accession to the bloc by Kiev could have severe economic and security consequences for neighboring Hungary, reported RT. Speaking in an interview with Kossuth Radio on Feb. 28, Orban said that while he would not rule out Ukraine joining the bloc in principle, doing so under the current circumstances would be virtually impossible.
