It's arguably a better fit for both the team and the player. Former Buffalo Bills starting wide receiver Gabe Davis, who was recently released by the Jacksonville Jaguars only one season into a three-year contract, has made a free-agent visit to the San Francisco 49ers. Citing an undisclosed source, Fox Sports insider Jordan Schultz reported the arrangement on Monday afternoon.

It depends on one's perspective, but the Buffalo Bills seemingly received good news when the NFL announced its international games on Tuesday. The Bills won't have to leave the continental United States at any point during the 2025 season. Buffalo was not chosen to participate in any of the seven international contests that will take place over the season's first 11 weeks.

It would seem odd for NBC to pass up an opportunity to at least use Allen to promote its Sunday Night Football enterprise, which is sure to feature the Bills at some point in 2025. Meanwhile, Allen has also been an entertainment news subject since his engagement to "Sinners" actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Buffalo Bills' quarterback Josh Allen will be on NBC's Today Show afterall this week. Although NBC mentioned on air this past Friday that the NFL MVP would appear on the program this week, they didn't specify a date, so it was presumed the appearance would coincide with the network's major schedule announcement that was slated for Monday, May 12. As it turned out, neither Allen nor the Bills participated in the Monday morning segment.
