Joseph Cardwell attacked his mother's fiancé after he was placed into a bear hug when during an argument that had turned physical. Cardwell had not taken kindly to being restrained and ripped his victim's nose off with his teeth before spitting it on the floor.

Nathan Wright is due to appear at Minshull Street Crown CourtA 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted assault following reports of an incident at a tram stop. Nathan Wright has also been charged with battery and possession of a controlled drug. The incident took place at the Old Trafford Metrolink stop on Tuesday 22 March 2025. Wright, of Bebbington Close, Sale, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday (April 28).

The suspect is in custody for questioningA man has been arrested after a number of shed burglaries and attempted thefts in Bolton. Police were called to reports of multiple incidents across the Highfield and New Bury areas of Farnworth on Sunday morning (April 20). The calls were made between 4am and 8am. A suspect has been identified by police and is currently in custody for questioning.
