Jahdae Barron is predicted to win Rookie of the Year on defense by ESPN’s experts. In fact, two different analysts picked him to win. Meanwhile, Denver Broncos second-round pick RJ Harvey was also picked by one expert to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Denver Broncos selected CB Jahdae Barron at No. 20 overall. That was a huge surprise considering the team’s biggest needs are all on the offensive side of the ball. The Broncos’ biggest needs were running back, tight end, and wide receiver in that order, so it makes little sense they didn’t go offense in the first.

Tomorrow is the 2025 NFL Draft, and to set the stage, the Denver Broncos draft picks of the last 5 years were recently examined. The Athletic reviewed all 32 teams’ picks over the last half-decade, and Denver landed just above the mid-way mark. Let’s examine where they fell in the rankings and how that compares with other AFC teams. Denver comes in at No. 15 on The Athletic’s rankings of all 32 teams drafts over the last five years. Here’s what they wrote:15.
