    The Leicester City fans have had to entertain themselves for the vast majority of what has been a miserable season for the club. Joy has been in short supply but the gallows humour has been plentiful. So you can excuse those who packed into the lower tier of the Bridgford End at the City Ground, home of their East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest, for celebrating the smallest of wins for them, even if technically it was just a draw. A single point has rarely been so joyously welcomed.

    Ruud van Nistelrooy has said Leicester City are hopeful of announcing a new contract for teenage winger Jeremy Monga. The 15-year-old, who began his GCSE exams in school this week, has attracted attention from a number of clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid, following his displays in Leicester's Under-21 side. However, despite only being able to train with the first team a couple of times per week because of school, Van Nistelrooy has given him five senior appearances.
