Pat Gerleman donated $14.2-million to the College of Medicine. It was made in memory of her late husband Jim Gerleman, and his brother John Gerleman. John graduated from the University of Arizona in 1962. A ceremony was held Friday morning at Old Main.
Young child in critical condition after drowning

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A young child is in critical condition following a drowning at a home in Tucson on the eastside, according to Tucson Police. TPD says they responded to a home on the 600 block of N. Igo Way near Anna Elementary School. Both Police and Tucson Fire responded. TPD says a young child was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
