Even experts, familiar with ice conditions, are telling people to stick to the shoreline.

    GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A lazy river, mini-golf course, jumping pillow, splashpad, pedal track, and other improvements could be coming to Green Bay’s Joannes Aquatic Center, under a $9.5 million plan a city council committee will review this week. The Joannes Aquatic Center, 1430 E. Walnut Street, is located across the street from East High School. The current facility opened in 1996, with the former pool turned into a skate park.

    MANITOWOC CO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 68-year old man received his fifth OWI on Thursday after speeding through Manitowoc County with a bottle of vodka. The driver, identified as Bobby Hill, was pulled over in Manitowoc County on Thursday for a speeding violation. Hill was subject to perform standardized field sobriety tests after the officer noticed a half-full bottle of vodka upon approaching the vehicle. Hill was arrested at the scene shortly later for operating a vehicle under the influence.

    GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — A pair of first-half touchdown passes from Jordan Love to Jayden Reed helped the Packers build a 24-3 advantage on their way to a 30-17 win on Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field. Reed finished the game with three catches for 24 yards and two scores. He also recorded one carry for 23 yards. Love went 21/28 for 274 yards passing. Josh Jacobs led the ground game with 19 carries for 43 yards and one TD, a one-yard rush in the first quarter to cap a 13-play, 76-yard drive.
