STAMFORD - Demolition work is moving ahead rapidly at the old Burlington Coat Factory site on Broad Street. Workers have gutted the building and aim to complete the demolition by the end of June. "We hope to complete demolition within the next six weeks and to start construction right away after that," said Maria Ruales, Director of Property Management at RMS Companies, the developer of the project. Approvals have been granted to build 280 apartment units in a seven-story structure.
