SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 30s was killed on Thursday morning after answering a knock on the door of his Northeast Side hotel room, according to San Antonio police. An SAPD report states that officers found the man in the doorway of his room at the QuBed Living hotel near Interstate 35 and Rittiman Road. Officers responded to the call just before 6 a.m. Thursday, when they noticed the man. Jesse Diaz, who was staying in a different hotel room, said he heard a commotion and then called for help.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for a suspect after a shooting on the Northeast Side left one man in his 30s in serious condition. Officers were called to the Qubed Hotel in the 4600 block of Rittiman Road just before 7 a.m. Thursday. Police found the man in a room with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body, SAPD said. The man was in and out of consciousness and taken to a local hospital in serious condition, where he is undergoing surgery, according to police.
