Traveling to rival Pahrump Valley on May 2, Boulder City High School baseball ended the regular season with a 5-4 victory. Fighting for second place in the 3A Mountain League, the Eagles overcame an early 4-2 deficit behind the relief pitching of Gavin Robinson, who allowed zero runs and struck out seven batters to earn the victory. At the plate, Spencer Aten batted 1 for 4 with a pair of runs batted in, while Gauge Rhodes batted 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Defending their state championship with pride, Boulder City High School boys volleyball defeated Somerset Losee 3-1 on May 6. Representing their home field, Boulder City High School girls track won their weekday event on April 24, while the boys finished second. “It’s always good to win your home events,” girls head coach Mark Misuraca said. “There’s definitely some pride when it comes to these weekday events. It was a good opportunity to get a full look at our team and see how they stack up.”Finishing with 142 points, the girls outpaced rivals Virgin Valley (101) and 5A program Foothill (74).

Heading into the final stretch of the regular season, Boulder City High School baseball split a pair of games this past week with SLAM Academy. Defeating the Bulls 5-3 on April 23, Steven Uszynski picked up the victory, allowing no hits over four innings, while striking out a pair of batters. At the plate, Gavin Robinson drove home a pair of sacrificed runs, while Karter Law finished 2 for 3 with a run batted in.
