LeShuttle has altered its terms and conditions for those who have booked day trips and overnight tickets. The new rules, brought in on March 5, mean holidaymakers who arrive less than one hour before departure – or later – will have their tickets for both their journey out and return voided.

A tornado has ripped tiles off roofs and toppled trees in Cornwall as Storm Éowyn made landfall in the UK. Residents in Quintrell Downs, near Newquay described how strong gusts of winds earlier on Thursday morning had left “complete carnage” in their wake. A Met Office spokesperson said: “There was a squally front moving eastwards, primarily across Wales and central and/or southern parts of England today which gave an isolated chance of tornados developing.

Asda has publicly backed farmers in their row with Labour over its inheritance tax raid following tractor protests outside of supermarkets. The supermarket chain spoke out for the first time in response to a letter organised by protesting farmers calling on the retail giant to support British agriculture. Dozens of tractors visited supermarkets in the Midlands and Sussex on Friday to call for their backing against Government plans to impose inheritance taxes on farms.
