THE parents of a parachutist who died after jumping out of a plane in an apparent suicide have paid tribute to their “brilliant, beautiful” daughter. Jade Damarell, 32, died on impact after falling from 10,000ft last Sunday. Her skydive club described her death as an apparent deliberate act. Parents Andrew and Liz said their daughter loved the sport and was training for her pilot’s licence.

A PARACHUTIST who died after jumping from 10,000ft is thought to have left a suicide note, according to locals. Jade Damarell, 32, who had successfully completed more than 400 jumps, died instantly when she hit the ground without her chute opening. As friends and colleagues paid tribute to the “beautiful” marketing manager, her skydiving club said it appeared to be “a deliberate act”.

THIS is the wedge of the Sycamore Gap tree allegedly taken as a trophy by the two pals who are accused of chopping it down. A video was discovered by police on Daniel Graham’s phone showing the section of tree in the back of his Range Rover, a court heard. Next to it is a ‘long bar’ red chainsaw, suspected of being the one used to fell the 49ft-high tree, the jury was told. Two photographs of the contents of the car boot were also found on the phone.

A "HIGHLY-experienced" skydiver's death is feared to be an "act to end her own life". Jade Damarell, 32, died instantly after hitting the ground while parachuting with Sky-High Skydiving in County Durham on Sunday morning. Jade - who had safely accomplished more than 400 dives in the past - was tragically pronounced dead at her landing site in nearby Wreford's Farm. Sky-High Skydiving issued a statement yesterday which indicated her death may have been a "deliberate act".
