AIR strikes by the US on a Yemen fuel terminal have killed 74 people, it has been claimed. The attack on the port of Ras Isa on Thursday also left 171 people injured, the Houthi-run health ministry said. Huge fireballs were seen erupting in the area as the strikes hit, with rescue teams continuing to search the site yesterday. It is the deadliest attack since President Donald Trump took office in January.

Billy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, was taken when terrorists stormed a house on Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel in 2023. The adventurous traveller had dreamed of visiting the secretive state for years but its borders have been closed to Westerners ever since the pandemic. A LOVE Island contestant nicknamed Barbie faces more than 20 years in jail for being the brains behind a drugs cartel. Magdalena Sadlo, 30, is said to have played a crucial role in a multi-million pound operation so efficient that investigators compared it to Amazon. She allegedly helped organise the shipment of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis to Holland and then on to the UK. The drugs were stored in Manchester safe houses before being distributed to dealers across Britain.
