    One of the hottest bands to burst upon the local scene recently is Natsukashii Soul, who will be appearing at Island Park on July 23 from 6-8:8:30 p.m. as part of Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s annual Summer Concert in the Park Series. Meanwhile, the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Concerts in the Park Series schedule was also released. The first show is Wednesday, June 11, with the Hank Shreve Band, and the Jessie Leigh Band headlines the lineup on July 16.

    CRESWELL – While celebrating his 101st birthday Sunday, retired Col. Richard Heyman took a few moments to reflect on a life well-lived. “I’m proud of the life I’ve lived.
