May 30-Jed York and the San Francisco 49ers extended their reach into the world of elite soccer Friday. Rangers FC, a professional soccer club in Glasgow, Scotland, announced that a group of investors - including 49ers Enterprises - has bought a majority stake in the team. The investment totals 20 million British pounds or approximately $27 million, according to Friday's announcement. Rangers FC competes in the Scottish Premiership, the top division of soccer in Scotland.
