The accident occurred at the intersection of Indiana 25 and County Road 750 East, north of Buck Creek. A man believed to be in his 30s died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-65 near the Clinton County line Saturday morning. The driver of a GMC Yukon was ejected from the vehicle after sideswiping another vehicle and rolling into a ditch. The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured. LAFAYETTE, IN — Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello is working Monday morning to identify the man killed Saturday in a crash on Interstate 65 near the Clinton County line.

A Lafayette police shooting review board cleared officers Jeremy Kennedy and Evan Sturgeon of any policy violations in the May 1 fatal shooting of Kenneth Smith. The officers were responding to a domestic violence threat when Smith fired shots, and Kennedy returned fire. The officers are now eligible to return to work, but the prosecutor will still review the case for possible criminal charges.

Lafayette police shot and killed Kenneth D. Smith in his apartment on Ravenwood Court. Indiana law requires release of officers' names within 24 hours, but Lafayette police have refused to identify the officers involved. The Journal & Courier has repeatedly requested the officers' names, but Lafayette police have not released the required information. The police department's shooting review board has met, but findings have not been released.
