The Summer Bash replaced a previous barbarian festival associated with Howard Days. CROSS PLAINS — They had a bash out here — specifically, the 2025 Summer Bash — on Saturday. While North Main Street wasn't blocked, both sides of the street were certainly filled with people. Visitors strolled the vendor booths — at least 80, according to Cross Plains Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ruby Wilke — perused the food trucks and even rode a camel.
