    WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police arrested a suspect of a hit-and-run that caused serious injuries to a pedestrian early Saturday morning in West Hartford. Juan Pablo Novoa, 22, of Cromwell, was arrested and charged with evading responsibility, tampering with physical evidence and windshield obstructing view. At around 2:00 a.m., a passerby witnessed an unresponsive pedestrian lying in the roadway on South Main Street. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, said police.

    NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A multi-vehicle accident killed four people in Newington on Saturday. The crash happened around 9:02 a.m. Three people, including Gabriela Difo, a senior at Newington High School, her mother, Florinda Tineo and her aunt, Jeannette Tineo, were killed in the incident, according to a statement released by the Newington school district. A fifth person sustained minor injuries, according to police.
