AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Multiple people were rescued after a boat capsized near the St. Augustine Inlet Monday afternoon, according to the St. Augustine Fire Department. Crews from St. Augustine Police Department, St. Johns County Fire Rescue, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Coast Guard Southeast, and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the capsized boat at 2 p.m.Crews safely pulled the people out of the water.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is bringing public transportation into a new era with the opening of the Autonomous Innovation Center (AIC) Thursday morning. Located in the historic LaVilla neighborhood, the $65 million AIC will be the command center for JTA’s autonomous vehicles. JTA’s AV program will be a fully autonomous public transportation system network.
