Le risque, c’est qu’il soit maintenant trop tard pour faire des choix. Une Europe plus forte aurait été dans l’intérêt à long terme des deux côtés de l’Atlantique. Du côté européen, on a argué de la vocation atlantiste de l’Europe pour ne pas renforcer son « autonomie stratégique ».
