Prudential is considering selling a stake in its Asia-based fund business Eastspring Investments, according to Bloomberg.
The UK insurer is said to have appointed an adviser to conduct a review of Eastspring, which could lead to the disposal of a stake worth in the region of $3bn (£2.35bn).
Among the options on the table is the possible sale of around a third of its Eastspring state, with a partnership between the pair maintained focused on expanding into area such as private markets.
