SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A 39-year-old woman who was allegedly driving at more than six times the legal blood-alcohol content level when she crashed her car into a power pole is now facing multiple charges, according to the Springfield Police Department. SPD officials said they responded at shortly before 7 a.m. on April 10 to a traffic crash in which a vehicle had struck a power pole on Gateway Street near Postal Way.

LEBANON, Ore. – A new racing season begins next Saturday at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon. The dirt track has been around since the mid 1960s, but it’s now healthier and safer than ever with multiple improvements made to the facility. Cory and Sandy Penfold took over the raceway in 2022 and immediately addressed issues with the concession stand under the grandstands. Smoke would drift up to the crowds above, and there was the possibility of a fire. Eventually, Linn County shut it down.

NORTH BEND, Ore. - All five occupants of a private plane that crashed into the waters of Coos Bay on Monday morning have been released from the hospital, according to Southwestern Oregon Regional Airport officials. According to SORA authorities, a hospital spokeswoman reported that the passengers and pilot had been hospitalized after their plane skidded off the runway into Coos Bay estuary.
