    EUGENE, Ore. -- A student at the Eugene 4J School District's Early College & Career Options High School (ECCO) was taken into custody of law enforcement February 21, according to the school district. In an email sent out to families, Eugene Education Options principal Scott Mayers said a student posted a picture to social media taken in the ECCO bathroom of the student wearing a ski mask and pointing a pistol at the camera.

    CORVALLIS, Ore. – At about midday on November 20, Benton County employees voted in favor of approving a tentative contract that was reached in overnight negotiations with the county government, signaling and end to the strike that started earlier in the month. On November 13, hundreds of Benton County employees represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) hit the picket lines to demand better wages and more support from the county.

According to the Coos County Sheriff's Office, around 1 p.m. on November 9, Joshua McCoy and his mother were taking a nap at their home on Stage Road in Hauser. When his mother woke up at about 5:30 p.m., Joshua was gone without a trace.
