A Gainesville Police Department (GPD) spokesperson said someone shot three people at the park around 8:15 p.m. The officer described the scene of the shooting as “chaos,” adding that one to two thousand people were at the Easter egg hunt. Officers released the video below showing the gunman, marked in red.

    GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A newly obtained Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) report on the investigation into former Sheriff Clovis Watson Jr. alleges employees were directed to spy on union members and investigate disfavored deputies. The FDLE report was withheld from public record while the allegations were investigated by State Attorney John Durrett who declined to charge Watson. Now, TV20 has obtained the report which details the allegations against the then-sheriff.

    REDDICK, Fla. (WCJB) - Twenty-one horses perished in a fire at a horse barn in Marion County early Tuesday morning. A 911 caller reported a barn on Northwest 118th Street in Reddick was on fire, with horses trapped inside around 3:30 a.m.Marion County Fire Rescue crews say the 10,000-square-foot barn was fully consumed by flames when they arrived. The roof had collapsed and the horses were dead. About an hour after they arrived, crews brought the blaze under control. No people were hurt in the fire.
