This is where, if you were looking, you would have found me on any given Monday, Tuesday or Thursday night since I took over as EIC for the 2024-2025 school year.

Reality television isn’t necessarily supposed to elicit joy, but it definitely isn’t supposed to make a viewer feel as desolate as “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” made me feel when I finished episode eight. “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Hulu’s newest reality series, follows the lives of eight wives and mothers in Provo, Utah — all of them, unsurprisingly, with ties to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Vice President Kamala Harris made it clear on Monday that she knows Pennsylvania’s importance as a swing state in the the 2024 election. At an event on the South Side celebrating Labor Day, she implored listeners to help “get votes to the polls,” from now until Election Day. “As unions and labor know best, we know what it’s like to be the underdogs,” Harris said. “And we are the underdogs in this race. And we have some hard work ahead of us.

Blue Moon is unassuming from the outside. Located on Butler Street in Lawrenceville, the bar could be one of many in Pittsburgh and the United States in general. But after walking through the entrance, it’s clear why this place is a staple for Pittsburgh’s queer community. The bar is small, with one main room that includes a stage for almost daily drag shows and hundreds of Christmas tree lights strung around. Even on a Sunday 20 minutes after opening, a group of regulars are standing at the bar.
