Zirkzee, 23, was substituted in the 55th minute of his side's 4-1 loss against Newcastle United on Sunday after going down with what appeared to be a hamstring injury. He was replaced by Rasmus Hojlund. United head coach Ruben Amorim said after the game that he expected Zirkzee to be out for "some games".

Crystal Palace have confirmed midfielder Will Hughes has signed a new contract at the club through to 2027. Hughes' previous deal was set to expire this summer, though the club held an option to extend the deal by a year. The 29-year-old has now committed his future to the club after establishing himself as a regular under Oliver Glasner. The Athletic reported in December that Hughes was content at Palace and did not want to move on, and in February that he was in talks over a new deal.

Ancelotti's contract at the Bernabeu runs until 2026 and said on Saturday that his future will not be decided until after the campaign.
