MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — A Morgantown area teacher who passed away earlier this year chose to give a portion of her estate to help with preservation efforts at the Metropolitan Theatre. The more than 100-year-old theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been a cultural landmark in downtown Morgantown since 1924. According to a press release from the city, that legacy will be extended in part thanks to a donation from the Nancy Elizabeth Love estate.
