MILTON, DE - The Delaware State Police say a suspect was shot and killed by officers on Thursday after allegedly charging towards troopers with a knife during a traffic stop in Sussex County. On May 1, Delaware State Police say they received reports of a possible impaired driver on Lewes-Georgetown Highway near Harbeson Road just before 4 p.m. 9-1-1 callers said they saw a Ford F-150 driving slowly and swerving into the opposite lane.

HARRINGTON, DE - Multiple fire companies responded to a large residential structure fire in Kent County on Tuesday night. The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office Kent says the fire was reported just before 7:30 p.m. on Fairground Road in Harrington on April 8. According to state fire officials, the Harrington Fire Company arrived to the location to find a home fully involved in flames. Multiple mutual aid and fire companies responded to assist. DSFMO Kent says there have been no injuries reported.

QUEEN ANNE'S CO., MD - The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office are investigating a mobile home fire that killed two Queen Anne residents on Wednesday afternoon. The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal say just before 2:00pm, a school bus driver was passing by and observed the home located at 504 Fox Meadow Road in Queen Anne on fire. The driver called 911.

BERLIN, MD - A traffic collision closed Trappe Road in Worcester County on Wednesday night. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office say the Wednesday night traffic collision was caused by icy conditions. The occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the incident. According to WCSO as of 8:50pm, Trappe Road, between Germantown Road and Harrison Road is closed due to the collision and a downed power line. A power company and crews are on scene working to replace the pole.

DOVER, DE - The Dover Police Department arrested two men on firearm and drug charges following a drug investigation in Kent County. On January 14th, at approximately 10:11pm, the Dover Police Department Street Crimes Unit contacted 23-year-old Darrell Boyd, of Wilmington, in the 100 block of Haman Drive in reference to a drug investigation. Dover PD say Boyd initially ran from officers but was arrested following a foot pursuit.

CAMBRIDGE, MD - The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a structure fire that occurred in Dorchester County on Tuesday morning. The Cambridge Rescue Fire Company were dispatched just before 8:30am on Tuesday to a structure fire in the 100 block of Maryland Avenue in Cambridge. According to fire officials, dispatch advised the responding emergency units that they received several calls from people reporting there was a fire showing at the location.
