    HARRINGTON, DE - Multiple fire companies responded to a large residential structure fire in Kent County on Tuesday night. The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office Kent says the fire was reported just before 7:30 p.m. on Fairground Road in Harrington on April 8. According to state fire officials, the Harrington Fire Company arrived to the location to find a home fully involved in flames. Multiple mutual aid and fire companies responded to assist. DSFMO Kent says there have been no injuries reported.

    MARYLAND- Eastern Shore Lawmakers in Maryland are calling on Governor Wes Moore to veto a bill aimed at expanding solar energy. The "Renewable Energy Certainty Act" would give the state authority to approve solar farms and energy storage if they meet specific conditions.     LEWES, DE - A shooting investigation is underway in Lewes. Delaware State Police say an unknown suspect fired shots that hit a home and vehicle on Pinetown Road. Investigators say it happened between 8 and 10 p.m. on April 15. No one was injured, according to DSP. Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues its investigation and urges anyone who has information about this incident to contact Detective J. Mitchell at (302) 752-3807.

    CRISFIELD, MD- The world's largest rubber duck is set to waddle back to Crisfield this Summer. Somerset County Tourism announced that the duck will appear at "Big Little Townfest." Officials say the event is scheduled to run from August 1 to 3 at the Crisfield American Legion Post 16. The giant duck reportedly stands six stories tall and weighs 15 tons. The inflatable yellow bird previously made a splash in Crisfield in 2023.
